Dr. Mike Schweizer graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science and cum laude from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006. He began practicing dentistry soon after graduating and has pursued post-graduate training with The Dawson Academy. Dr. Schweizer purchased his current practice from Dr. Mike Cook in 2015 upon Dr. Cook’s retirement. In 2018, Dr. Schweizer acquired a second practice from Dr. Hal Welch and welcomed Dr. Welch’s former patients to his practice. Dr. Schweizer has developed Signature Smiles as a true family dental practice that takes the time to get to know each of our patients. Dr. Schweizer is dedicated to leading a friendly, compassionate team of dental professionals who are committed to providing our Toledo patients with attentive, gentle dentistry.

Time Outside of the Office

Though Dr. Michael Schweizer is passionate about providing friendly, tailored care to the citizens of Toledo and surrounding suburbs, he also makes a point of taking time to relax and enjoy his hobbies. Outside of the office, Dr. Mike Schweizer enjoys spending time with his friends and family, and watching and attending sporting events for his favorite teams. Though he is a proud native of the Toledo area, Dr. Schweizer grew up in both Oregon, Ohio. He currently resides in Sylvania, Ohio with his wife Traci, their daughter Morgan, and their son Mason. He and his wife love cheering their children on as they watch them participate in sports such as basketball, baseball, and baton.
